Accel led the expansion of the Gillespie Gardens seniors residence complex in Beaverton, Ontario, as part of the client's work to expand affordable housing options to seniors in Durham Region. A new 2-storey extension designed to complement the existing building provides 18 additional dwelling units, along with a new elevator and expanded parking and landscaping. Care was undertaken to ensure construction was conducted safely and sensitively with minimal disruptions to residents in the existing complex.
